Roll out in any direction from 145 Front’s downtown Worcester apartments and enjoy the city’s ample green spaces.

Living an active lifestyle is important to Worcester residents. That’s why we built 145 Front at City Square in an increasingly walkable neighborhood and included on-premise bike storage. In addition to their airy central courtyard, the 145 Front downtown Worcester apartments are surrounded by green spaces.

South of Town

Blackstone River Bikeway has a three-mile bike path section that runs south from the College Hill neighborhood towards Millbury. The full trail runs 48 miles, all the way from Worcester, MA, to Providence, RI. It parallels the eponymous Blackstone River and historical railroad tracks.

North of Town

Green Hill Park is the perfect spot for a shorter ride. The park is 10 minutes northeast of 145 Front’s downtown Worcester apartments. In addition to a walking and biking trail, Green Hill Park has a petting zoo, a golf course, a picnic area, and a playground. While you’re there, take a moment to admire the stately granite war veteran memorial.

On the East Side

Elm Park is smaller than Green Hill Park, but it’s a virtual icon of Worcester. Its central location and beautifully manicured grounds make it a popular gathering place in the spring and summer. Just across Park Avenue is Newton Hill, an annex to the park with its own grounds and a historical manor house. Tour the park’s wooded trails or take a ride around the perimeter and into the city. You can bike straight from the downtown Worcester apartments of 145 Front to the park in just 10 minutes.

Now is the perfect time to grab your helmet and get biking. Take advantage of the accessibility provided by 145 Front’s downtown Worcester apartments and visit some of the city’s prettiest spaces (including ours!) while the weather holds. Then, get in contact so you can discover all the other advantages of the downtown life.
